Night Sky Viewing Through Telescopes

We bring our telescopes to your location, whether it be where you are camping, or your place of accomodation anywhere in Australia (on passable roads).
Your group can nominate the start time and duration of viewing.
Telescopes available include up to;
11 inch Celestron Goto Telescope
2 x 8 Inch Meade goto Telescopes
4 Inch Reractor
40mm H alpha solar refractor telescope (for daytime observing)
Peter will give you an expert guide to the sky, teaching you
the motion of the stars and planets across the night sky
describing and observing the birth, lives and death of stars
how to get the most out of your home telescope (better still bring it along)
or tips on purchasing your own telescope
and answer all your astronomical questions

We will show you
live video of the Moon and Planets projected from the telescope.

Star Clusters,
the constellations
Nebulae and galaxies on moonless nights
Also the odd satellite and shooting star
CLOUDY NIGHTS
Of course no viewing can be done on cloudy nights. It maybe possible to shift to the following night subject to availability.
