Short Courses in Astronomy are available. Courses can also be tailored to suit.

Courses are currently held at the Gunnedah Adult Community Education Centre.
Will be also available soon in Coonabarabran.

Courses are held over 4 evenings and all have an observing component with telescopes provided though you are encouraged to bring your own telescope as well.

The presenter is Peter Starr who is a former Site Manager of Siding Spring Observatory and has qualifications in Astronomy and Chemistry.

Practical Astronomy for Beginners

If you own a telescope and do not know how to get the most out of it, this is the course for you.
